Dust Bowl

“The dust bowl, also known as the dirty 30s, was a period of severe dust storms that greatly damaged the American & Canadian prairies during 1930s. During the drought of the 1930s, the unanchored soil turned into dust that prevailing winds blew away in clouds that sometimes blackened the sky.”(2) With the inspiration of those years, Dust Bowl concept is prepared. The concept centers, of course, on earthy mauve. Other landscape- derived tones of rich brown, rusty, adobe red & sage green are essential, too. Smoked, dirty, stained finishings are available.

Soft touch by a special engineered construction with the special colors as true blue & maya blue with a masculine look on the fabrics are the essentials of the concept. The fabric weight range is between 9 – 12,5 ounces. The concept also includes 2 particular harsh linen articles that break the usual drappy characteristic of linen.
